Fear of theft and vandalism is one of the main obstacles to acquiring and using a bicycle in the capital. 50 innovative secure bicycle shelters designed, manufactured, installed, operated and maintained by Altinnova to facilitate residential parking are now being deployed in Paris.

A new service for bicycles in the capital
The first 50 secure bicycle shelters in Paris have just been installed and put into service by Altinnova.
It is now possible for users to park their bicycles safely in the space allocated to them among the 6 numbered spaces.
Practical and easy to use
Each shelter is locked using a connected lock and remains accessible 7 days a week using the subscriber’s badge or smartphone.
Once the door in front of the bike rack is unlocked, the user simply slides it open. They can then simply push their bike onto the wheel guide.
Inside, hoops allow you to place your bike and secure it with a personal anti-theft device. Once the door is closed, the bike is parked and protected from the weather, as well as from vandalism.
A complete service
This service provided by the City of Paris welcomes mechanical and electric bicycles, as well as those fitted with baby-carrier seats.
This locker, designed for secure parking, also includes an inflation station outside the locker for all cyclists!
