The objective of staging the first 100% cycle-friendly Olympic Games has long been announced. To achieve this objective, a great deal of work needs to be done, including the construction of bike stands in stations, the creation of cycle lanes, the development of Olympic venues, etc.
However, to accommodate the thousands of visitors, temporary bicycle parking facilities are also necessary! That’s why a large number of temporary ALTAO® Mobile cycle rackshave been deployed in the Paris region and in the various areas hosting the events.

Teamwork to make Olympic venues accessible by bike
For the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Altinnova has been selected to supply and deploy, with our partner Wheelskeep, temporary cycle parking facilities at the Olympic venues. The aim: to facilitate access for spectators, athletes and staff to the various competition venues while encouraging soft mobility.
Solution implemented: over 15,000 temporary cycle parking spaces using ALTAO® Mobile modular racks. Designed for events, these racks are robust, easy to install and move, and suitable for all types of bikes.
