On both sides of the Atlantic, they’ve already made a name for themselves: it’s the custom-made ALTAO® Pod micro-collective shelters that we’re seeing for our partner Oonee. But this time, the pods are being installed on the American continent, offering 8 bicycle parking spaces each!
ALTAO® Pod bicycle shelters, a secure solution designed to make life easier for cyclists
With two more spaces than the original, already available to Parisians and New Yorkers, these two new secure lockers add to the range of cycle parking facilities available in New Jersey. Their clean, unique design makes them recognisable, but above all functional for users. In fact, it is possible to park bicycles or EABs even equipped with a baby carrier or basket!
Each of the 8 racks available to subscribers is numbered. In this way, each cyclist has his or her own allocated space. This means they always have a safe place to park. The interior hoops provide three-point security for the bike. Using an approved anti-theft device, the frame and wheel can be attached to the metal structure. Top security so that theft is no longer a worry!
An integrated inflation station
What’s the best thing about this secure parking space? Its built-in inflation station. Available to everyone (season ticket holders and cyclists just passing through), cyclists can take advantage of this service to ride safely with properly inflated tyres!
